One year of experiences at Villa Anna
Welcome home to Villa Anna!
We are an intimate, personal and unique hotel in the heart of Uppsala. Here we present roughly how a year here looks like:
January and February:
We start the year off with a brand-new menu. Each composition is being created in our “food lab” and goes through many alterations before we get to the final product, which we then present on the menu. A fantastically creative process which we love!
In February we celebrate love —of course this is to be done every day but on February 14 we want to celebrate it extra. Dinner for two in the restaurant or escape the regular weekdays with an overnight stay at the hotel, finishing up with a breakfast of first class
In February we also have our annual Party- and Wedding fair. At the fair we have an exhibition at the hotel with inspiration from around 20 vendors. The main players in parties and wedding are gathered to create a day full of inspiration and wedding joy.
You will also find one or another semla at Villa Anna in February.
March and April
Is when we welcome the spring! The nearby trees are budding, and the air is filled with bird song. A pleasant feeling! We also welcome the spring menu, filled with early spring vegetables, and where we are always working with the best ingredients after the seasons, such as the lovely asparagus.
April is also a special month for Uppsala. The spring is according to old traditions being sung in from the Carolina stairs, the students are running down from the castle hill, and Villa Anna welcomes you to a classical herring lunch. We follow the rhythm of the city and are open from early to late, even the whole night. We also open our outside area!
May and June
Now its full speed at Villa Anna, restaurant visits, ceremonies, weddings, weekends, afternoon tea, breakfast, hotel stays, lunches and conferences. The house is in full bloom!
July
In July we take a summer break. Reloading with trips and impressions which often results in developments in nuances in what we love to share with you. To run Villa Anna is our passion we never stop evolving.
August
The month of kick offs. New menu is set. We are always excited about these moments, lots of hard work are behind it, and we always try out wine and food in combination and are delighted by alluring experiences we cant want to share with you.
September and October
Not to forget, in September Uppsala comes to life and the night of culture transform the whole city to a living rendevouz. Villa Anna, following the rhythm of the city, are letting the doors stay open from early to late. The fall is moving on and there is nothing more pleasant than some afternoon tea, a dinner or why not a whole weekend?
November and December
Late weekend in November, the first of advent we open our Chrismas tables, classical food craft where everything is made from scratch. The years ends with gala feelings, new years dinner and fireworks by the castle. The view from Villa Anna is magical.
